Bring a blanket, pack a picnic, and spend an evening in community at Books and Stars! This free concert series takes place in Northfield's beautiful parks on Wednesday evenings in June and July.
All performances start at 6:00 p.m. Stop by the bookmobile to check out items or get a library card starting at 5:30 p.m. Bringing little ones? Join us for storytime on the lawn at 5:30 p.m. before each show.
Books & Stars is a joint effort by Northfield Public Library, Northfield Public Schools Community Services, and the City of Northfield. For those who need a sturdier seat, Age-Friendly Northfield will be bringing its 52 red chairs.

In the event of rain, we will make the call as to whether to move to our backup location, Northfield High School's auditorium, by 3:30 p.m. The high school is located at 1400 Division St. South, and the auditorium is around the back. Please check mynpl.org, the library's Facebook page or Instagram, or call the library at 507-645-6606 after 3:30 p.m. for program changes due to weather.
