Coronavirus (COVID-19): No-Contact Library Services


Northfield Public Library is open. The health and safety of our staff and patrons is our first priority. Whether in person or remotely, we are here for you. Face covings are recommended to be worn in indoor, public settings by all individuals – vaccinated or notNo-contact library services are still available.


Get Your Requests

  • Place new requests via the online catalog or receive requests you’ve been waiting for.
  • You will be notified when your requested items are available for pickup.
  • No-contact pickup is available. Call 507-645-1803 to schedule no-contact pickup or home delivery of your items.

Online Access from Anywhere

The library provides a range of digital offerings, including eBooks and eAudiobooks from Libby, streaming movies on Kanopy, art and craft video classes on Creativebugonline databases for research and homework, and, an online learning platform with thousands of tutorials. Some library programs are available virtually, too.


Free Wi-fi Access

Access the library’s free wi-fi network from outside the building (even in the parking lot).
