Accessible formats
Library material includes books in large print, audiobooks on CD, and downloadable books and audiobooks. Catalog search results can be filtered by format to limit the results to a preferred format.

ASL Interpreter Services for Programs
Please contact us online or by phone at 507-645-1818 at least 1 week in advance to request an ASL interpreter for a library program. If possible, more notice is appreciated.
Home Delivery
The Northfield Public Library provides a selection and delivery service to Northfield area residents who are unable to travel to the library. Library staff members select items from the library at the request of the patron. Volunteers then deliver, and pick up the items for return. To request home delivery service, call the library at 507-645-1807.
Library Building Accessibility
All locations have doors with accessible push button access, low pile carpeting, or hard surface flooring. Multi-level buildings have elevators.
Service Animals
Trained service animals are welcome at the library.

Northfield Public Library is committed to providing digital information and services to everyone, regardless of ability. We follow City of Northfield web accessibility guidelines, which strive to meet international digital accessibility guidelines.
Wheelchairs
The Washington Street Library has a manual wheelchair and rollator available for visitors to use.
