Northfield Public Library is open. The health and safety of our staff and patrons is our first priority. Whether in person or remotely, we are here for you. Face covings are recommended to be worn in indoor, public settings by all individuals – vaccinated or not. No-contact library services are still available.
We ask you to:
Stay home if you are sick. If you or anyone in your household is sick or has symptoms, do not enter the library.
Wash your hands. Frequent handwashing is your first line of defense against infection.
Visit in person or online. Meeting rooms are once again available for public use. Library programs are being held in the building and outside (weather permitting) as well as virtually.

Public internet computers are available. Library staff disinfects computer area daily.

The bookdrops are open. Return all materials in the bookdrop.

Register for a library card in person at any service desk, or online by emailing northfieldref@gmail.com.
Online Access from Anywhere
The library provides a range of digital offerings, including eBooks and eAudiobooks from Libby, streaming movies on Kanopy, art and craft video classes on Creativebug, online databases for research and homework, and Lynda.com, an online learning platform with thousands of tutorials.
Free Wi-fi Access
Access the library’s free wi-fi network from in the library or outside the building (even in the parking lot).
